Taking The Dive

Yesterday, I put this website out into the world.
As I looked at the calendar and realized June 1 marked nearly the halfway point of the year, I knew it was time to leap—one that I often encourage others to take themselves.
Is the website perfect? No.
Do I feel completely ready to take this on? Not really.
Was I holding myself back? Absolutely.
I often ask people, "What decisions would advance the work?" Publishing this site was one of those decisions.
It moved me from considering to activating, from idea to execution. That's where the magic happens—not just in the thinking, but in the doing.
Is it vulnerable? You bet.
But let me ask you this: if absolutely no one wants to work with me, what have I really lost?
Some time, perhaps. But little else.

Instead, I would have done something brave. Something that inspires me. Something that feels more aligned with who I want to be in the world: a partner to people, organizations, and businesses as they work through challenges, decisions, and processes that help them move forward.
And I didn't arrive at this idea on my own.
I paid attention to why people reach out to me in the first place. More often than not, they're looking for a sounding board, a steady partner, or someone who can help them gain clarity as they navigate decisions and determine their next steps.
If that's what I naturally do for friends, family, colleagues, and board leaders, then maybe it's time to listen to what the world has been telling me all along. Maybe it's time to lean into what I'm intrinsically good at, what energizes me, and what I can amplify to help others.
So whether you're just getting started, sitting on an idea, navigating a challenge, or dreaming up something wildly ambitious and a little unconventional, let's talk.
I'm here to help.
And I can't wait to get started.
